When you shop with Parts Island, your checkout is processed through Shopify Checkout, a secure commerce system used by businesses around the world. We use established platform protections to help keep your personal and payment information secure while your order is submitted.

How your checkout is protected

  • Encrypted connection. Parts Island and Shopify Checkout use HTTPS with Transport Layer Security (TLS), which encrypts information sent between your browser and the store.
  • PCI DSS Level 1 platform. Shopify is certified Level 1 compliant with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). Shopify states that this compliance extends to stores powered by its platform, including their shopping carts and hosting.
  • Secure payment processing. Your payment is processed through Shopify Checkout or the payment provider you select at checkout. Available payment methods are shown before you place your order.
  • Authorization and review. Transactions may be subject to authorization, verification, and fraud screening by Shopify, your payment provider, and your card issuer.

What Parts Island receives

We receive the order information needed to fulfill and support your purchase, such as your name, contact information, billing and shipping addresses, the products ordered, and the payment status. We will never ask you to send a full payment-card number or card security code by email, contact form, phone, text message, or social media.

If you choose a third-party payment method, that provider may process information under its own privacy and security terms.

How to shop safely

  • Begin your purchase from partsisland.com and confirm that your browser shows an HTTPS secure connection.
  • Do not send payment-card details through email, messaging, or our contact form.
  • If a message about your order seems unusual, contact us directly before sharing information or making another payment.
