Shipping policy
Effective date: March 29, 2026
Last updated: March 29, 2026
At PARTS ISLAND, we aim to process and ship orders in a timely, consistent, and commercially reasonable manner. This Shipping Policy explains how orders are processed, shipped, delivered, and handled after dispatch. By placing an order with PARTS ISLAND, you acknowledge and agree to the terms of this Shipping Policy.
1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed after payment has been successfully authorized and received. Processing times may vary depending on product availability, order volume, carrier conditions, fraud screening, inventory verification, special handling requirements, holidays, weekends, or unforeseen operational delays.
Submission of an order does not guarantee same-day or next-day shipment unless expressly stated by PARTS ISLAND in writing. Estimated processing or delivery times shown on the website, at checkout, or in communications are good-faith estimates only and are not guaranteed delivery commitments.
PARTS ISLAND reserves the right to delay, hold, split, or cancel any order for reasons including but not limited to suspected fraud, stock discrepancies, pricing errors, incomplete customer information, payment verification issues, or carrier limitations.
2. Shipping Methods and Carriers
PARTS ISLAND may use one or more shipping carriers or delivery providers at its sole discretion. The carrier selected for a shipment may depend on package size, destination, delivery method, operational efficiency, or service availability.
If a specific shipping method is selected by the customer at checkout, PARTS ISLAND will make commercially reasonable efforts to use that method or an equivalent service, but reserves the right to substitute a comparable carrier or shipping option where necessary.
3. Shipping Rates
Shipping rates are calculated based on factors such as order weight, dimensions, destination, package count, delivery speed, carrier pricing, and handling requirements. Shipping charges displayed at checkout are generally charged in addition to the product purchase price unless otherwise stated.
PARTS ISLAND reserves the right to correct shipping charges in the event of obvious system error, dimensional miscalculation, destination limitation, or freight reclassification. If a material adjustment is required before shipment, we may contact the customer or cancel the order at our discretion.
4. Processing and Delivery Estimates
Any shipping or delivery estimate provided by PARTS ISLAND is an estimate only and should not be interpreted as a guaranteed arrival date. Transit times begin only after the order has been processed, packed, and released to the carrier.
Delivery delays may occur due to weather, labor disruptions, carrier backlogs, customs processing, address issues, high-volume periods, remote-area routing, force majeure events, or other circumstances beyond our control. PARTS ISLAND is not liable for shipping delays that occur after an order has been transferred to the carrier or that result from conditions outside our reasonable control.
5. Shipment Confirmation and Tracking
When available, shipment confirmation and tracking details may be sent to the email address provided at checkout. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the email address entered is accurate and that shipping notifications are monitored.
Tracking updates are generated by third-party carriers and are outside the direct control of PARTS ISLAND. We are not responsible for delayed scans, inaccurate tracking events, or temporary interruptions in carrier tracking systems.
6. Split Shipments and Partial Fulfillment
PARTS ISLAND reserves the right to ship orders in multiple packages or from multiple fulfillment points without prior notice where operationally necessary. If an order contains multiple items, some items may ship separately and arrive at different times.
A split shipment does not constitute incomplete fulfillment so long as the full order is ultimately shipped, except where an item is separately cancelled, backordered, or refunded.
7. Delivery Address Accuracy
Customers are solely responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address at checkout. PARTS ISLAND is not responsible for losses, delays, failed deliveries, or returned packages resulting from incorrect, incomplete, outdated, or undeliverable address information submitted by the customer.
If an order is returned due to address error, refusal, failed delivery attempts, or non-collection, any reshipment will be at the customer’s expense. Any refund issued in such circumstances may be reduced by outbound shipping charges, return shipping charges, handling charges, and other related costs.
8. Risk of Loss and Title
Unless otherwise required by law, risk of loss and responsibility for the goods pass to the customer upon transfer of the shipment to the carrier. Title to goods remains subject to full payment clearance where applicable.
Once an order has been marked as shipped and accepted by the carrier, PARTS ISLAND is not responsible for delays, loss, theft, delivery mistakes, or damage occurring in transit, except to the extent such responsibility cannot lawfully be excluded or where the issue is directly caused by our own fulfillment error.
9. Lost, Stolen, or Delayed Packages
If tracking indicates that a package is delayed, lost, or delivered but not received, the customer must contact PARTS ISLAND promptly at info@partsisland.com. We may, at our discretion, assist with carrier claims or shipment investigations; however, we do not guarantee replacement, refund, or reimbursement for packages that are lost, stolen, misdelivered, or delayed after handoff to the carrier.
PARTS ISLAND reserves the right to require the customer to wait a reasonable amount of time for carrier investigation, provide a written statement, confirm shipping details, or cooperate with a loss review before any discretionary resolution is considered.
Packages marked by the carrier as delivered shall generally be deemed delivered unless compelling evidence demonstrates otherwise.
10. Damaged Shipments
If an order arrives visibly damaged, the customer should document the condition of the package immediately and contact PARTS ISLAND within 14 calendar days of the marked delivery date at info@partsisland.com.
We may require photographs of the exterior packaging, shipping label, item condition, internal packaging materials, and any affected contents before reviewing the matter. Failure to preserve packaging materials or provide requested documentation may limit our ability to evaluate the claim.
11. Backorders and Stock Availability
From time to time, an item may become unavailable after an order is placed due to inventory fluctuation, supplier shortages, or fulfillment error. PARTS ISLAND does not guarantee that every listed item will remain continuously in stock.
If an item is unavailable after purchase, we may, at our discretion, cancel the unavailable item, hold the order, partially fulfill the order, substitute where appropriate and clearly equivalent, or contact the customer regarding available options.
12. Refused or Undeliverable Orders
If a shipment is refused by the recipient or returned to PARTS ISLAND as undeliverable for reasons not caused by our error, we reserve the right to deduct all shipping expenses, return fees, address correction fees, handling costs, and other non-recoverable charges from any refund or credit.
If the package is abandoned, destroyed, or otherwise not recoverable, no refund may be due.
13. International Shipping
Where international shipping is offered, the customer is solely responsible for compliance with local import laws, taxes, customs duties, brokerage fees, foreign transaction charges, product restrictions, and any other fees or obligations imposed by the destination jurisdiction.
PARTS ISLAND is not responsible for customs delays, border seizures, denied entry, or import-related losses. If an international package is refused, abandoned, or returned, any refund may be denied or reduced to account for outbound shipping costs, return shipping costs, duties, taxes, and carrier-imposed charges.
14. Shipping Restrictions
PARTS ISLAND reserves the right to limit or refuse shipment to certain addresses, states, regions, countries, freight forwarders, PO boxes, mail forwarding services, or high-risk destinations where shipping is commercially impractical, legally restricted, or operationally inadvisable.
We also reserve the right to impose quantity limits, signature requirements, address verification requirements, or alternate shipping conditions on any order.
15. Delivery Issues and Customer Cooperation
In the event of a shipping issue, the customer agrees to cooperate promptly and in good faith with any request for address confirmation, carrier claim documentation, package photos, statements of non-receipt, or other information reasonably requested by PARTS ISLAND.
Failure to cooperate may result in denial of any shipping-related claim or discretionary accommodation.
16. No Guarantee of Exact Delivery Date
PARTS ISLAND does not guarantee delivery by a specific date unless expressly confirmed by us in writing. Under no circumstances shall shipping estimates, transit-time references, or checkout delivery windows be interpreted as contractual guarantees.
PARTS ISLAND shall not be liable for incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from late delivery, including lost revenue, lost opportunity, labor costs, scheduling problems, installation delays, or third-party expenses.
