Application Note
Universal tool; compatibility depends on the engine’s vacuum ports, adapter threads, number of carburetors/throttle bodies, and manufacturer synchronization procedure. Confirm required adapters, safe gauge range, damping setup, base idle and ignition specifications, and service-manual procedure before use. This tool measures intake vacuum and does not by itself prove a specific ignition, compression, or fuel-system fault.
Safety Note
Use only by a trained technician around a running engine. Work in a ventilated area, secure loose clothing and hair, keep hoses and gauges away from belts, fans, exhaust, fuel, and hot surfaces, and prevent dirt or fluid from entering the hoses. Do not drop the gauges or clean them with gasoline/solvents. Stop immediately if a fuel, vacuum, or exhaust leak is found.
