Application Note
“Universal” does not guarantee fit. Confirm turbine-housing family and A/R, blanket dimensions and closure, wastegate and actuator position, oil/water-line routing, sensor and manifold clearance, material temperature rating, and access for inspection before ordering. The blanket must not contact the compressor housing, rotating linkage, electrical terminals, or leaking fluid connections.
Safety Note
Professional installation is recommended. Inspect and repair every oil, fuel, coolant, and exhaust leak before fitting; trapped flammable fluid can ignite even if the blanket material itself resists flame. Install only on a cool turbo, keep away from lines and wiring, heat-cycle and re-inspect the fasteners and material, and replace the blanket if contaminated, damaged, brittle, or loose. Confirm local emissions and motorsport requirements.
